ADD AN EVENT
Adding your event to the Creative Cultures Scotland website is easy. Just fill in a few details, click ‘Submit’ and in a day or two your event will be on the web! Please be aware that you will be asked for imagery, video or audio along with some text about you and your event so it is advisable to have these prepared in advance of adding your event to the directory.
Please note that any areas of the form marked with an are mandatory.
ASSOCIATED VENUE
To add an event you must have a venue associated with it. If a venue is not listed in the drop down list below please complete the 'Join the directory of Venues' form first. Please allow 24 hours for the venue form to populate the system and then return here to add your event.

Event Short Description
NOTE: The short description is shown when a user does a search for an event where your entry may be in a list alongside other entries. This is your opportunity to sell your event to the public. Short descriptions should be kept to a maximum of two sentences in length. (No more than 50 words in length).
Event Long Description
NOTE:The long description is shown when a user views your event in detail. This is your opportunity to provide an in depth synopsis of your event - be clear and concise. Long descriptions should be kept to a maximum of two to three paragraphs in length. (No more than 150 words in length).

Note: If your event is part of a larger group of events please select the parent event that your event belongs to. Keywords are single words that users can type in when they perform a search. You may enter up to five keywords to help users find your event.

EVENT MEDIA FILES
Please send any media files you would like included with your event entry - e.g. image, video, audio, text files etc (maximum of 3) – as email attachments to info@creativeculturescotland.co.uk – see below for format guidance. Please include your name, organisation if applicable, title of work i.e. winter landscape, media used i.e. oil on canvas/wood/metal etc and your email and telephone number to help us identify the correct event entry.

IMAGE, VIDEO, AUDIO AND TEXT FORMAT GUIDANCE
Digital images must fit into a 240 pixel x 240 pixel area and be of a suitable format for viewing in a web browser e.g. JPEG, GIF or PNG around a maximum of 300KB in size.
[You can reduce your image size in Photoshop by opening the image, clicking on ‘Image’>’Image size’ and then changing the numbers in ‘Pixel Dimensions’ to 240x240. If you do not have Photoshop you can download a free image viewer/editor from www.irfanview.com]

Video image clips should not exceed 5 minutes and be in QuickTime, SWF or Windows Media player format and appropriately compressed to be no larger than 800KB in size with a resolution of at least 320x240 pixels, 25 frames per second. For each clip we also require a still representative image (see digital images above).

Audio clips should not exceed 5 minutes and be in MPEG or WAV format and appropriately compressed to be no larger than 800KB in size with a resolution of at least 128kbps stereo for streaming audio or 16-bit, 44kHz stereo for traditional samples. For each clip we also require a still representative image (see digital images above).

Text files should be in Word (DOC) or PDF format, not exceeding 5 pages in length. For each document where possible we require a still representative image (see digital images above).
