VENUE MEDIA FILES

– see below for format guidance. Please include your name, organisation if applicable, title of work i.e. winter landscape, media used i.e. oil on canvas/wood/metal etc and your email and telephone number to help us identify the correct venue entry.
IMAGE, VIDEO, AUDIO AND TEXT FORMAT GUIDANCE
Digital images
must fit into a 240 pixel x 240 pixel area and be of a suitable format for viewing in a web browser e.g. JPEG, GIF or PNG around a maximum of 300KB in size.

You can reduce your image size in Photoshop by opening the image, clicking on ‘Image’>’Image size’ and then changing the numbers in ‘Pixel Dimensions’ to 240x240. If you do not have Photoshop you can download a free image viewer/editor from www.irfanview.com

Video image clips
should not exceed 5 minutes and be in QuickTime, SWF or Windows Media player format and appropriately compressed to be no larger than 800KB in size with a resolution of at least 320x240 pixels, 25 frames per second. For each clip we also require a still representative image (see digital images above).
Audio clips
should not exceed 5 minutes and be in MPEG or WAV format and appropriately compressed to be no larger than 800KB in size with a resolution of at least 128kbps stereo for streaming audio or 16-bit, 44kHz stereo for traditional samples. For each clip we also require a still representative image (see digital images above).
Text files
should be in Word (DOC) or PDF format, not exceeding 5 pages in length. For each document where possible we require a still representative image (see digital images above).
