During 2011 - We decided to put a pollDaddy Poll online to find out what our visitors thought were the best Cultural Events in 2011. We can now reveal that the winners are:
A clear winner with 42% of the total votes, the Willowbank All stars performance of "the Hoose" was voted "best cultural event of 2011" in our poll. Congratulations to them, and all their members for making it such a winning event. With 27% of the total votes, and also winning the "best visiting event 2011", the NTS production of "Nothing to see here" wowed the crowds with their interactive live theatre. For details about the National Theatre Scotland's events, please visit : www.nationaltheatrescotland.com
In third place were last years winners, the North East Open Studios. NEOS showcased 286 entrants in the year round directory of artists, makers and galleries (with an estimated 1000 people showing work during the event). For 2011, Creative Cultures Scotland decided to add in extra categories to show more excellent cultural activities going on in the North East of Scotland. The categories & winners are:
